Righteous Villains vinyl

I apologize for not updating frequently!
Don’t miss out the Righteous Villains vinyl, which can be ordered via Bandcamp.

Johnik and I did a show in Växjö last week. For pictures from that show, see this page.

I will try to fix this webpage as soon as I get the time. In the meantime, you can follow me on twitter and instagram. You can also listen to the Righteous Villains in the embedded playlist below.

Take care!

Righteous Villains cassette

Long time since the last update. However, I’ve just released a cassette EP together with German producer AK420. The tape is called Righteous Villains, contains 5 tracks plus instrumentals and features scratches by Goersch. The project has been released by the indy label Amajin Records in a limited run of 50 cassettes. So if you want a copy you better order one fast through their bandcamp where you also can listen to the tracks (the playlist is embedded below).

Cheers!

Blind Vision tape!!!

I have been catastrophically lazy when it comes to updating this site, but other things have taken my time. Like making music!

Swedish producer Johnik and me have released a cassette tape presenting some material from our forthcoming LP named Boom Bap for the Fighting Subject (dropping February 2016). The tape is called Blind Vision (which is a track from the LP) and features some previously unreleased stuff.

We have also released a video for Blind Vision, make sure to check it out.

New single out now

On May 1 underground MC Menteroja and producer Johnik (BEATMAKERiet) drop the track ¿Qué es el rap?, which is the first single from their upcoming album Boom Bap for the Fighting Subject. On ¿Qué es el rap? the Swedish duo has teamed up with Puerto Rican rapper Luis Díaz from the group Intifada.

” Luis Díaz was the obvious choice for us, ” says Menteroja. ” He is one of the most poetic rappers out there, ”continues the Swedish-Latino MC.

The album Boom Bap for the Fighting Subject contains class conscious rhymes over traditional boom bap beats and will be released on vinyl as well as digitally in August this year. The album also features LA rapper Rogue Venom, DJ Devastate (Counterweight Records), DJ Pera (Malaga Royalz) and Fanstatic (BEATMAKERiet).

Live in Nuremberg in July

I’m really glad to announce that I will do a live show at the Unspoken Words Festival in Nuremberg, Germany on July 19. Other nice hiphop acts from different parts of Europe will be kicking it too, and as I understand it there will also be seminars and other nice happenings on that festival. So, mark that date on your calendar and come to the Unspoken Words Festival.

By the way. I’m working on new material. I have a couple of tracks recorded on Johnik’s beats (and I’m about to record another one), so it will be some boombap dropping in a near future.

Don’t forget to order my latest 7 inch Yankilandia/Analogue Circuit.
